How Our Tools Work
Most tools on NetToolbox run entirely in your browser. The Port Lookup, Subnet Calculator, and CIDR Converter perform all calculations locally using data built into the page. Nothing you enter into these tools is transmitted anywhere.
Two tools do make external API calls to provide their results:
- The IP Info tool sends the IP address you enter (or your public IP address if you leave the field blank) to ipapi.co to retrieve geolocation and network information. You can review ipapi.co's privacy policy at ipapi.co/privacy.
- The DNS Lookup tool sends the domain name you enter to Cloudflare's public DNS over HTTPS resolver (1.1.1.1) to retrieve DNS records. You can review Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Advertising
NetToolbox may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Cookies
